How Under-16 Course Waves Work (What Happens on the Other Side)
Simultaneous Dual-Delivery + Parental Lock
1. Simultaneous Dual-Delivery 📨
When you wave at an under-16 learner, it lands on both the Teen Dashboard and Parent Dashboard immediately so they never miss out if a parent is slow.
2. Parental Lock & Teen Nudge 🔔
The learner can read your course invite immediately, but replying is locked (
🔒 Parental Lock) until their parent approves. They can click "Nudge Parent 🔔" to prompt their guardian.
3. Parent Unlock & School Sync ✅
Once the parent approves, the lock lifts on the teen's dashboard, your card status updates to Parent Unlocked, and the school careers adviser is notified.
